It is exactly in the spirit of these words that I reach out to these budding scions of tomorrow’s leadership at my alma mater.

 

Once, I was here like these ones, and only Providence, passion and perseverance got folks like me going. If it was possible for us, we can make it possible for these too.

It’s indeed an experience to feel grateful for, leading AWLO Ikot Ekpene Chapter to this outreach to support the children with a thousand books across two schools. The team left Lutheran High School and State Commercial Secondary School both in Ikot Ekpene LGA of Akwa Ibom State with both an impactful experience and an indelible memory of charity.

Truly, educating and literacy remain the path to liberty of the mind. A generation without a pathfinder is as good as having no existence. Being a torch-bearer to those coming behind is a privilege and service to humanity is a calling.
